![]() Obviously, you are using a far better than average set of samples and sampler, but any curiosity on my part about that has faded due to your underwhelming and evasive answers even when asked. I am of the opinion that perhaps it works best as more of a background track, where it can hide a little behind some other sounds. MIDI guitar as a lead instrument is just that tough. I personally wouldn't even consider it, and I am a patient perfectionist. Given the complexity of your arrangement, it becomes a monumentally overwhelming task. The unfortunate truth IMO is that the fix for MIDI sounding like MIDI requires fixing in the programming of the MIDI, and its a huge tedious PITA normally. And adding to that comment, I'd have to say its my opinion that adding effects isn't going to fix any of the "MIDI like" issue that you described. Like I said before, the guitar tone isn't too bad. Way over the top arrangement IMO, but to each their own. ![]() I have heard some efforts that are fairly convincing, and the example given isn't too bad. ![]()
